Fasting Day #23
Day 23: “Peace That Passes Understanding”
Philippians 4: 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. NKJV
There are things that happen in this life that are hard for us to understand. A tragic death, sickness, overwhelming poverty, violent acts, etc. These things can negatively affect our peace, and joy, as well as our physical and mental health. During these times we must turn to the Lord to help, in faith, to get us through these realities that make no sense to us. The Bible says that God will not answer all of our questions to help us understand; however, we have a powerful promise in Philippians 4:7 that God WILL give us His peace that will keep our hearts and minds during those difficult times even when we do not understand through Christ Jesus. If you are in a trying time like this and or praying for someone who is, please claim this powerful promise of God’s peace to help you through it and will guard your heart and mind to keep your peace and joy despite the circumstances. Thank you, God for your peace!!!
