This Sermon focuses on Paul’s message to the Roman Church about the struggle that he and all Christians have to try to live as Christ will have us live and yet still struggle with sin because we still live in the flesh. The Good News, however, is that Jesus has given us the power to overcome this struggle by His death on the cross and the Holy Spirit that lives in us. If we listen and follow the Holy Spirit, we can overcome the power of the flesh; and even when we fall short, we have forgiveness and do not have to live in guilt and know that we will have the victory.
